A loving family environment in the Children’s Villages is created by SOS mothers. For the purposes of housekeeping and providing quality care SOS mothers are supported by SOS family assistants. From 2013 the family-like care is provided both by SOS parents and SOS mothers. Now there is one SOS family in SOS Children’s Village Kotayk where care is provided by SOS parents.SOS Children’s Village Kotayk is situated on the borderline of villages Kotayk and Nor Gyugh in Kotayk region. Children in the Village are provided with long-term and short-term (up to 6 months) round the clock care. Now there are 10 SOS family houses in the Village where children are provided with long-term care and 2 houses where children are provided with short-term care.
